FREAKIN’ WEEKEND VIII

(artwork by Kelly Ahrens)
THE FINAL ONE // THE FUCKING WEEKEND
Contrary to popular belief, WOW, the Freakin’ Fucking Weekend is upon us for the final year – 2017 – the year of Butthole America. Let us take a moment of silence. . . . .
Thank you Madams, Sirs.
Soooo this year, what’s up? I’m talkin’ ’bout hot night shows at The End & a blowout at Exit/In on Saturday, day shows at Fort Houston O.G., plus DJs Nashy’s Dead willl be conjuring the festival spirit the night before the festival with our buds at Third Man to get the vibe right (more on that later)
You can count on ridiculous 3″ buttons by Domo, Cam and Dillon on the way – free as usual at day shows.
Be wary of crowd surfing with readiness to support. Without a doubt, no racists, no homophobes, no chronically violent and no sexual aggressors. If anyone feels uncomfortable by any of the above types at our shows, don’t hesitate to talk to an organizer and we’ll take care of it.
As always, hit us up if you have any issue paying and we will hook you up, no questions asked. Here’s the first batch of the artists playing
FREAK THE WORLD

THE RUNDOWN – 2.6.2017 – 2.12.2017

Winter may be slowing down the touring shows and turning parties into bonfires, but it is not slowing down our spirits. We have some things in store for you pretties in the next week or so. Keep your eyes peeled. Until then, you can catch a reading from Chicago’s own Rachel Bell this Tuesday. Then on Wednesday, it’s a full-on Southern electronic music blowout with George Clanton from NY with locals Meth Dad and Future DZ opening. Saturday is another big day with the 3rd annual girl group tribute extravaganza She’s A Rebel featuring all your favorite Nashville femmes AND THEN more hot electronics at Wilburn Street Tavern (which seems to be happening more often lately) with TRAM Planet Crew, a newer collaboration between some fave locals.
